Example 1 — Three ways to write the same bet
Team A to win — decimal odds 2.25, the same bet in fractional odds is 5/4, and in American format +125. On a ৳500 stake, if Team A wins you get back ৳1,125 (৳625 profit + ৳500 original stake); if Team A loses, the ৳500 is gone.
With decimal odds, total return = stake × odds. With fractional odds, the numerator is your profit and the denominator is your stake (৳5 profit for every ৳4 staked). An American + sign shows how much profit you make on a ৳100 bet.
Example 2 — Odds for the favourite
Team B's odds to win are 1.80 in decimal, 4/5 in fractional, and -125 in American format. A negative American odds figure shows how much you need to stake to make ৳100 profit. On a ৳500 stake, if Team B wins you get back ৳900 (৳400 profit); if Team B loses, the ৳500 is gone.
A favourite's decimal odds are always below 2.00, because the higher probability of winning means a lower return.

Once a match starts, live betting is the most fast-moving experience available. Odds are recalculated after every wicket, at the end of every over, and following the powerplay. When a team is scoring quickly their odds to win shorten, while their opponents' odds lengthen.
Consider this example: pre-match, Team A and Team B had similar odds. By the 12th over, Team B has lost three wickets, so in the live market Team A's odds shorten — meaning they are now the favourite. Betting on Team B at this point offers a higher potential return, but the risk is also greater.

How Multi Bet is calculated
If three separate selections have odds of 1.70, 1.80, and 1.90, the combined odds are 1.70 × 1.80 × 1.90 = 5.81 (approximately). On a ৳100 stake, if all selections are correct the return is ৳581. If even one is wrong, the full ৳100 is lost.
A multi bet offers higher potential profit, but all selections must be correct at the same time — so the risk is also higher.
